Our organization was founded by Alexander Major, a former healthcare executive and current college educator who has dedicated his life to this cause.

Born and raised in Brooklyn & Queens, New York, Alexander served his country in the United States Air Force. While in the military he received his initial medical/surgical training at Shepard Air Force Base Texas and served at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California and more than 5 years at the U.S. Air Force Regional Medical Center in Wiesbaden, Germany.

During his time in the military, he developed a passion for quality medical care and saw firsthand the impact it could have on people's lives. After his military days, he worked in a few hospitals large and small in and around New York City.

As the founder of the Healthcare Action Network, Alexander has been a tireless advocate for healthcare equity, working to raise awareness about healthcare inequality and promote policies that help achieve greater equity in the healthcare system. Under his leadership, the Healthcare Action Network is on track to becoming a powerful force for change, advocating for policies that ensure equal access to quality healthcare for all individuals.

Alexander's commitment to healthcare equity is further demonstrated by his work as an adjunct professor at City University of New York (CUNY). He shares his extensive knowledge and experience in health administration and business with the next generation of business leaders, empowering them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today's competitive world.

Throughout his 40-year career, Alexander has been recognized for his advocacy work and contributions to the healthcare industry. He has received numerous accolades for his efforts to promote healthcare equity and has become a major voice in the fight for change.

At the Healthcare Action Network, we are committed to promoting healthcare equity and ensuring that all individuals have access to quality healthcare. If you share our passion for this cause and want to get involved in the fight for change, we invite you to join us. Together, we can work to promote greater equity in the healthcare system and make a difference in the lives of countless individuals.
